I strive to provide meaning (value) by delineating paths towards something else. Psychological and spiritual facts are just as real, just as important as material facts. The outer and inner realms intermingle.

Crossing requires washing away the attributes of the world being left behind. Passing from one state to the other, to another fragment of space, requires purification. The principles that rule the human world are lifted when one passes the border (the elimination of duality and contra-diction).

"Sacrifice" - gives new strength, new form, provides people with a new existence, an opportunity to regain consciousness and memory, a chance to regenerate. Sacrifice is a creative gesture, a hope for the restitution of order and the restoration of time used. Protest and sacrifice without prospect has meaning, a meaning not deriving from a predilection for failure. This humiliation is our only certainty, thus we choose absurd, meaningless endeavor (the absurdity of the alluring luxury of suicide, drowning oneself in a bathtub with the knowledge that this will bring nothing - no eternal life, no freedom). This order of things means liberation from all limitations of the human condition deriving from the passage of time.

There is one whole - the borders between various orders of reality have been blurred. Purification (rain of blood) - blood as nature counter-posed against culture. Nature strives to replace everything that has not been learned, not been tamed anew by reason. Culture feeds on barbarianism. Culture is no more than a comprehensible, ordered world, a series of places, meanings, names, etc.

The empowerment of reason means no more and no less than the legal enchainment of nature. Nature has been stripped of its authority - reason stands alone. Rain interrupts the drought (existential drought) - the limit has been reached; rain had to appear and wash things away, as the initiation of a new structure of time (rain as a cleansing agent). Excess rain - punishment, more cleansing required.

The situation is not enirely clear, because this rain is bloody. As a result, we live with ideas that would disrupt our lives if we were to experience them truly. We define our problems so emphatically that we can only adopt extreme solutions. Red Rain - an industrial complex as a disrupting condition that nature cannot endure, leading to radical, all-embracing reactions.

This abnormal, forced condition had to bring the reaction of "rain" - a con- sequence of disruption. Instead of actualizing plans of "greatness", industrial buildings have become the torture chambers of our self-eradication.
